Tolkien was a famous British writer born on 3rd January 1892, is quiet well known for his books The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Tolkien worked as a professor and taught Anglo-Saxon Language at Oxford for a period of twenty years ranging between 1925 to 1945.
