There are a number of books that Oprah Winfrey has co-authored – she hasn’t actually written any by herself, though!

Books Co-Written By Oprah Winfrey
  • In The Kitchen with Rosie: Oprah's Favorite Recipes (1994) with Rosie Daley
  • A Journal of Daily Renewal: The Comparison to Make the Connection (1996) with Bob Greene
  • The Uncommon Wisdom of Oprah Winfrey: A Portrait in Her Own Words (1997) with Bill Andler
  • Journey to Beloved (1998) with Ken Regan
  • Make the Connection: Ten Steps to a Better Body and a Better Life (1999) again with Bob Greene
There have also been plenty of biographies about Oprah Winfrey – not all of them authorized – and several DVDs about her life.

As well as having co-written several books, Oprah is also known for increasing sales of other authors' books by introducing them on Oprah’s Book Club, which was a book-discussion segment of her TV talk show The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Oprah’s Book Club ended in 2011, after a fifteen-year run, but an online book club called Oprah’s Book Club 2.0 was launched in June 2012.
