Should You Ever Write An Apology Letter To Employer After Showing Bad Judgement In Handling An Embarassing Situation?

I would rather wait until I'd calmed down, and then I'd approach that employer and apologize in person. But a sincere apology, whether in person or written, is never a bad idea. The worst thing you could do would be to ignore the situation. If you showed bad judgement (and we all do, from time to time) it is never wrong to apologize for it.
