A solicited letter is used if a person is applying for a posted job advertisement. On the other hand, an unsolicited letter is used  when a  job seeker is applying for possible vacant position in a company, hoping that they will hire him.

So, are you trying to say that "Solicited Application letter" is the letter that is written with permission while "Unsolicited" are the letterthat has no individuals consent? Its too ambiguous, this is how far I understand this "Solicited letter and Unsolicited", "Solicited letter", is a letter where you use person's name with their consent while "Unsolicited" is your using a person's name without consent? Its just too f*cking annoying when I read some f*cking threads without f*cking clear and f*cking distinctideas for this "Solicited and Unsolicited Application letter" which a have read a lot. If you can tellMOAR! About this two kinds of letter "Thank you very much" it would be a big HALP!.
