Narrative Structure is the basically the plot. It is the framework for text. It helps the reader or viewer understand the story line.

Narrative structure is the inter-relationship of events in a story, usually by the principle of causality (i.e., an event is the logical effect of previous event[s] and at the same time it is also the cause for some upcoming event). People use the term "plot" to signify narrative structure. The oldest theory on plot can be found in Aristotle's.

Narrative structure is the plot of the story or of whatever your using text a poem etc ...  It helps them to understand the story line of it all.
