Well unbinding a binding is not as simple as it sounds and can be very time consuming. If you want to unbind a binding made from glue or any other sticky substance, start of by applying little amount of water to sections where the binding has been done.
Make sure you do not apply too much water as this might completely soak it, applying water will loosen the binding after which you can easily unbind the material. If the binding of a book has been done by staples, take the rear end of a stapler; place it between the stapled section and the book and gently pull it, this will release the staple binding.
