What was Shakespeare's favourite book?

This is undoubtedly a book by the Roman author Publius Ovidius Naso, known today as Ovid. His "Metamorphoses" was bought for young William by his mother, Mary Arden, when her son was first introduced to Latin by his tutor Simon Hunt.
