I haven't read The Golden Compass. I've been meaning to for a little while, but I've never gotten around to it.

My favorite book is the inspiring one, I love reading it, as it's like a teaching book, it teaches us how to do for being calm healthy or patient. Many of them are Americans' writers and some are French ones too.

I read so many books that I would fill this page with favorites. But my favorite series is the " Pendergast " thrillers from Preston and Child. I'm presently reading the newest one in a long list.

I read everything by John MacDonald in my late twenties.

Best known as the creator of Travis McGee, JOHN DANN MacDONALD was one of the last of the old pulpsters to cross over successfully to the burgeoning paperback market of the fifties.

"(He was) the great entertainer of our age, and a mesmerizing storyteller."

-- Stephen King

I also read everything by Mickey Spillane when I was in my late twenties.

I love The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S.Lewis as well as his space trilogy.  I've read about 95% of his books---also in my late twenties.

Now I think much more than I read.
