Hi

If you have a problem activating Word, why not consider downloading Open Office. This is a free suite of programs which includes a word processor. I use it all the time instead of office. The great thing is it will also open word documents.

I don't know a lot about this but if you don't have the code you won't get in.
All I can suggest is for you to go to programs, then accessories, then Wordpad which appears to be a program for letters (a plain jane version).
