To type a letter on the computer first open up wordpad, or wordpress (or whatever is available on your computer.) Many computers come with Microsoft Office or WordPerfect installed. They would be found in your Start Menu under "All Programs." If they are not already on your computer you can purchase and install a copy or download and install OpenOffice, a free word processing program. Next, open your word processing program. This will give you more flexibility in how to format your letter and also comes with spelling and grammar checking capability. Now you can begin typing your letter! Good Luck!!
