I Have A Singer Model 6235 - How Do I Thread Bobbin. Do I Close Slide Plate Completely Or Match Up The 2 Arrows? I Wrapped Thread Around The 2 Possible Areas On The Presser Foot Screw, But It Still Didn't Start Filling Bobbin. The Setting Is On The Bobbin Setting.

To get the bobbin to wind ---# 1 thread the machine ---and the needle --- then wrap the thread around the screw on the left side of the shank. # 2 line up the arrows on the machine and the plate you should be able to see the thread thru the window on the plate. It should look like it is winding between the 2 halves of the bobbin --- if doesnt -- stop and retry -- sometimes my machine will wind it under the bobbin.. Hope this helps
