Boo Radley is taken into myths/legends in the TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD book by not interacting with the people of his town. He is believed to have killed his father, at one point thought to have killed his mother when she died, and is believed to eat cats and squirrels instead of normal food. He has also not been seen in 15 years, which helps fuel the gossip in the town. Scout and Jem and the rest of the children all make up ideas and with the adults help think what they want about Boo Radley, or Arthur Radley.
You can probably find out more from class discussion books if need be.
Hope I helped!
