OK, if you really, really want me to ruin the ending.
Dumbledore does die near the end of Book 6, and Harry sees him die. He is killed fighting the Death Eaters, by none other than Professor Snape (using a curse) having been weakened earlier by a potion he drank. When the book ends, Harry has to go into hiding and Hogwarts looks like being taken over by Snape.
However, you have to wait till Book 7 to find out what really happened...
Well I'm sorry for this if you might lose the interest in this series after reading this. Dumbledore die at the end of book 6 by professor severus snape but this is all their plan and dumbledore ask snape by himself to kill him in order to do good assistance of harry. The details you'll get to know when you'll read the 7th book. Harry and the Deathly Hallows.
Actually at the end of 6th book dumbledor dies because of 3 reasons first he drank a position that made him weak, second he knew that he was going to die for wearing the cursed ring so instead of dying paintfully he drank the potion and told snape to kill him and last draco malfoy was supose to kill dumbledor but didn't and as dumbledor and snape planed he was killed on th astronami tower by by snape with avadra kadava (wrong speeling) spell. And snape was actully a good guy because he was dumbledor spy. I just can't wait for the 6 movie in jully. At the end of the Harry potter series Harry potter will kill Harry, voldemorte will try to kill harry with the curse but that curse actually belonged to harry , it could not kill harry because he is the owner of the spell, so when Harry casted the spell harry casted the espeliamas spell so it rebonded, instead of killing harry it killed voldemort. I think everyone that was killed by the that curse will come alive again.
Dumbledore receives a powerful curse and knew he would die. However, he and Snape plan together how they could make his death profitable and thus he asks Snape to kill him "when it is time" in the 6th book.
YES, he dies! Harry and dumbledore are on a search to find the objects that has dumbledore's life, (description in the book), however following a trail they land up in a trap where dumbledore has to drink venom, this makes his extremely weak somehow they manage to reach hogwarts wherein dumbledore is cheated by one of his fellow people and he is killed.
Death eater dies in harry potter and the half blood prince by the now again death eater professor Snape.plus the death eaters are back with voldermort in this book and they go to london and let the muggles know about magic by attacking them with their wands... Well for this Harry Potter book there are good news and bad news. The bad news is that Severus Snape kills Dumbledore and the bad news is that they did this to do good assistance of Harry.
Yes, he dies. Snape ends up using the killing curse on him after Malfoy decides he can't do it himself. The reason Snape does it is because he made an unbreakable promise to Malfoys mother.
Yes he dies. Snape kills him. I'm not even sure if he told snape to do so or not but ive just seen the movie. I'm reading the book soon though soooooo.....STAND BY

Of course. Voldemort asks draco to kill but then draco failed and snape kills albus dumbledore. Harrry potter realises about the false hocruxe. But then read the book.
