The best thing to do if you are thinking about making a jungle scene for kids is to get some input from them. What animals would they like to see, what plants do they think should be in a jungle scene and how big should it be. Once you have this information you can go ahead and get the jungle scene started. If you are leaving this for them to paint and color in, make sure that you have left enough space for them so that they do not struggle keeping the colors within the lines.
- Have a look on the internet. There will be a lot of images that you can look at for inspiration. There will also be videos on YouTube showing you how to draw different animals and plants.
- Talk to someone who spends working time with kids like a teacher or nursery worker. They will know exactly what children like when it comes to drawing and coloring in so their input will be vital.
- Think of the animals that your children know and don't know. Make sure that all the animals they expect to be in the scene is there but also put in a few different animals too so that they can learn new animals along with enjoying your drawing.
- Copy some jungle pictures you already have and see if you can replicate them in your jungle scene. This way you will have the original right in front of you so that you can see exactly where you are going right or wrong.
- Don't make the drawing too complicated for the kids and make sure that there is a lot of bright vibrant color to stimulate their senses.
