He liked privacy, which is no surprise, as he was one of the most talked about, and well known faces in all London!  That he hardly paid his taxes, moved house several times, and, as a Roman Catholic, avoided the clutches of men such as Sir Frances Walsingham, gives credibility to his constant staying out of the limelight! Other than the fact that he wrote such brilliant plays sonnets and poems, there is hardly any evidence that he lived at all! There are no facts supporting the idea that he lived in London other than the aforementoned tax returns, and they could be easily misconstrued as belonging to another!  Shakespeare DID like to drink, and it was this that ultimately killed him!  He DID like women, as an anecdote on the first giving of Richard 111 proves, Burbage was asked to "attend" a lady in the guise of Richard 111, Shakespeareoverheard the conversation and was there first! Burbage was at her door soon after and announced that Richard 111 was here Shakespere sent word that William 1 was before Richard 111!

Why do you care?

Seriously, if all you're going to do all day is sit on Blurtit asking what Shakespeare liked and didn't like no one is going to like you. Do yourself a favour. Go outside and leave your computer. Get a life, you freak!
