I wanted to ask that what kind of poems to people prefer reading more? I mean long poems or short ones?

For starters, it would be the short ones, I assume. Short ones which can easily be understood (interpreted). This also goes for writing them, I think. Later, as you enjoy reading poems, you'll get to look for more and long poems, which can be a little more challenging (interesting) to read (and or write).
