When you say Harry Potter, I’m assuming you mean Daniel Radcliffe? No, he’s not in the Heineken commercial, but the guy who does act in this commercial does bare an uncanny resemblance to Radcliffe.

The actor in the commercial is Ciaran Kellgren and he is from Liverpool. The commercial in question is called “cities of the world” and it is the latest addition to a series called “The Legends”, created by Heineken.

In this series, the main characters are men who are pushed beyond their limits and end up exploring the world.

In addition to the advertisements, Heineken has also released a range of bottles engraved with six cities, including London, Amsterdam, New York, Shanghai, Berlin and Rio de Janeiro.

The actor in the Heineken ads is, indeed, Ciaran Kellgren. He has appeared in several televison series, including Casualty and, more noticably Shameless. Theatrically he is best known for playing Peter Pan (2013) in Kensington Gardens, but has also appeared at The Library Theatre, Manchester, and the Everyman, Liverpool. Currently (October 2014) Ciaran is appearing in "Early One Morning" at the Octagon, Bolton, having just completed "Journey's End" at the same theatre. Early One Morning is a moving play about a soldier condemned to death for desertion during the First World War. Ciaran's acting in these two plays is outstanding and deserves to be seen. Runs to 1st November 2014.
