An Almanac holds astronomical and astrological data like the stages of the moon, high tides, which planet effect which body part etc and also predictions about what these astronomical events would mean for people, children, politics etc. Yearbooks are a later discovery and don’t have astrological or astronomical facts; they are just a reference work recording events of a specific year.
