Cheerleading can be traced back until the late 1800's, when it was known as jumping around on the sidelines and getting the crowd involved. Now, cheerleading is considered a sport. It has earned this title and has evolved by adding certain sporty "elements" such as tumbling, stunting, and jumping. If you have ever done any of these things you would easily agree, being a cheerleader is very difficult and takes much physical ability, not to mention, had more injuries than football in the year 2007-2008.
