There are a number of places where you can find books to read online. One good site is www.onread.com. There are loads of books to choose from, including 'Of Mice and Men' by John Steinbeck. You can sign up to the site if you want. You can find hundreds of books and search for a particular one by title and/or author name, or by genre, such as 'Nonfiction', 'Arts and Photography', 'Literature' etc, and even subgenre. There are also audiobooks you can search through if you'd rather listen than read. You can chat, debate, and ask questions on the forums (you have to register for these first) and join the Facebook group. Here is the link to the book you were looking for, 'Of Mice and Men': www.onread.com/book/Of-Mice-and-Men-191086/ You can rate the book out of ten, give it a thumbs up or thumbs down, and send it to Facebook, Myspace, or Tweet or Digg it. The page shows you a picture of the front cover of the book as well as giving you both a description/blurb about the book and an excerpt from it. If you like the book it shows you other stories by that author, plus books from the same genre (in this case 'Literature'). You can post photos about the book, review it, or comment on it. There are also ways to download the book or you can read it online if you want. If you stop reading and have to come back to it, remember or write down your page number, then type it in and you will be taken straight back where you stopped. As you read the site will tell you how far you have got in a percentage, as well as giving you the time! The one problem with all this is that when you settle down to read the book, there is no paragraphing, not for 'Of Mice and Men' anyway: This can make it confusing to read. If you're really struggling without paragraphs, as it can be quite offputting, try here instead: readbookonlinefree.blogspot.com/2011/03/ccgfg4okjh.html If you liked having so many books to choose from then onread.com is better, but if all you want is to simply read 'Of Mice and Men' then there it is. Happy reading!
