I have no idea. But when I was assigned "Billy Bud," it was such a bore it felt like it would never end!
The unabridged version of Stephen King's The Stand. It is about 1150 pages. It is one of my favorite books.
i can't say i've ever read a book from front to cover lol.
Probably one of Tom Clancy's books or a couple of Stephen King's ! Both could write some pretty long ones !
Four Past Midnight by Stephen King.
War and Peace
....I don't even want to talk about that book.
Gormenghast by Mervyn Peake.
An odd book with no real plot, no ending (with any meaning).
Pointless characters are introduced and then forgotten.
Mini-plots that go nowhere, and you can't work out why.
It's strangely enjoyable though (if you have a month or two to spare).
That would have to be "It" by Stephen King.
"Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoy was also very long.
Aa big book about 100 times now i dont even have a copy of it.
The Bible (God)----1281

The Stand (Stephen King): 1,153 pages. Tags: (Genre): Fact based fiction / imagination
I found both to be fascinating.
The Bible . .
The first time as a believer.
The second time I read it was as an atheist . . . It seemed longer that time.
