The Four C's model of communication in business are:

Comprehension, Connection, Credibility, and Contagiousness.

Comprehension- refers to understanding of the message. Does your audience get the point, the idea and they relay it back to you? In order to ensure comprehension is achieve, you must keep the message clear and simple.

Connection- to make a connection with the audience, they need to not just understand what the message is, it needs to resonate with them. They need to feel a sort of emotional response to it.

Credibility- the audience must have a belief in who is delivering the message, what is being said, and how it is being said.

Contagiousness- You want your message to be infectious. If the audience "catch" it, they will have taken it on board and are more likely to want to spread it.
