There are a number of multiple choice questions available in many different locations when it comes to pharmacology for nursing. One of the most reliable sources of information is 'Mosby's Medical Nursing and Allied Health Dictionary'. This book, loaded with information on the medical profession, contains over 2,000 pages and retails for around $18.

The book can be found on some torrent sites, two examples of multiple choice questions in the book are:

Which of the following OTC medications must be recorded in a book before it is sold to the customer?
A. Acteaminophen
B. Pseudophedrine
C. Ranitidine
D. Simethicone.

Which of the following medications is not a calcium channel blocker?
A. Diovan
B. Isoptin
C. Plendil
D.Tiazac

All the multiple choice questions in the book used as examples are laid out in this way. They provide a useful source of information as the multiple choice questions are situated at the end of each chapter and are a good way of checking your retention of the chapter before moving on to the next section of the book.

There are a number of other books that have multiple choice questions after each chapter in the Mosley range of books.

Some other books that are useful in the medical range by Mosley are:
  • Mosby's Dictionary of Medicine, Nursing & health Professions
  • Mosby's Medical Dictionary
  • Review Questions and Answers for Dental Assisting
  • Mosby's Drug Reference for Health Professions
All the books are easy to read and are available from all  good bookshops and online sites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
