Thread the machine. Place an empty bobbin in the bobbin slot under the needle. Push down on the bobbin winder button that is located on the right side of the machine, under the stitch length lever. Grasp the end of the thread. Push leg lever to slowly start machine. The machine will pull the thread from your fingers and wind the bobbin. You can run in in warp drive to quickly fill the bobbin. Once the bobbin is full, release the bobbin winder button into the up position. Using a pair of closed scissors, pull the thread from under the needle out about 3-4 inches. Cut the thread. You should have thread from the top and the bottom.
