The letter "N" is hidden a certain number of times in each of his paintings. He does this because his wife's name is Nannette. There is not a set number of "Ns" that are hidden; the number differs as he feels in each painting. You can tell how many "Ns" are hidden in a painting by the number that is printed to the lower right side of the Thomas Kinkade, John 3:16 seal that is on every painting, after a certain date.
