I am pretty certain it was from one of the following: A radio show based on the green hornet The hornet's father had a valet named kato.Also the 1966 green hornet movie.Also Inspector clouseau's valet was named Kato (he was also his martial arts partner) in the pink panther movie.So you are thinking of the pink panther kato or the green hornet kato.Hope this helps
