It is a dance preformed by men and women . All can participate in this dance young or old ... These dance are usually preformed as traditional celebrations . For example a wedding or a birth of a child . The dance consists of stages where transformation is seen . Dancers of the group will do patterns following each other in a row or circle formation . Sometime the men and women will dance in pairs . Attributes of the dance are : Birdlike arm movements that is wide apart . The dancers knees are always bend to make it easier to do shuffling and stomping movements of the legs . The dance is done with passion and it is a very energetic dance form . The dancers puts on happy faces and are smiling most of the time . The men's movements are lower than the womens and not so fast , it looks like the are hunting . The dancers wear Motsetso's which is a short skirt made out of animal skin .
