Dear Judge Blackewll,
I have had time to give some serious thought to the stupidity of my actions on January 23, 2009. I realize that my misguided attempt to steal the bicycle from the Wal-Mart store in Tulsa was a hurtful thing to do to my family. My Mother has suffered the embarrassment of having a son that is labeled a thief and I have had to face myself in the mirror knowing that what I did was wrong. It was a childish and stupid act, I know that. I simply ask that you take into account that I have never been in trouble before and if you can find it in your heart to be lenient, you can believe you will never see me in front of you again. I have learned a lesson to respect the property of others and I am truly sorry for my actions.
Sincerely,
Tom Brown
