Okay, so I'm writing a story, and its set in medieval times, kind of unoriginal I know. But I need help should I include magical creatures?(dragons, phoenix, goblins, etc.) or should it just be normal life no magical creatures.

It is your story, do whichever you feel is right for your story line.

My favorite Medieval fantasy is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim because of the many different races: Nords, Elves, Orcs, Argonians. The fact that there are dragons makes it even better. So yes, having different races and creatures makes it better in my opinion.

Good idea not to use Swaggon. It reminds me of a Justin Beiber song, lol. Let me ask you this, what role does the creature play in your story? Is it the main villian like Alduin was in Skyrim or is it a passive creature like a Netch in the Elder Scrolls Online? The role the creature plays in your story should also be thought of when naming it like whether the name should sound friendly or sound dangerous and evil.

Its is a passive character, they will fight it, but it us not a main boss.

Cool cool. Allow me to make the suggestion of a random name generator. Whenever I've been stuck with finding a name for a character, a city, or a ship I've relied on random name generators to give me ideas. Check out the link below and see if anything you see sparks your inspiration.
