Can someone help me create a grotesque humanoid monster? I just need ideas of what to add on to it because I already have the body shape. Thanks!~ Alice

You say you're interested in writing.  I think it's better for you if you come up with your own ideas.  You certainly want to say the stories are yours .. Not shared with us.  Good luck.  Most of the fun of writing is being creative and original.

Look up some mythological creatures to give you some good ideas. One of my personal favorites is the Wendigo.

Dear Corey Goofyhawk, I just took a few interesting moments to look up your Wendigo...indigenous peoples of the Atlantic and Great Lakes regions...and found this interesting comment!

"... the disputed modern medical term Wendigo psychosis, which is considered by psychiatrists to be a...syndrome with symptoms such as an intense craving for human flesh and a fear of becoming a cannibal.

"In some Indigenous communities, environmental destruction and insatiable greed are also seen as a manifestation of Wendigo Psychosis."

Hmm, interesting. Thanks, Virginia!

Dear Alice Richtofen,

Since it is 4 AM in Oz and our Australian contingent is still sleeping please allow me to offer you an actual genuine photo of...the Australian Bunyip! Complete with comparison to human dimensions...

Very lifelike Virginia, but the bunyip is a sweetheart alongside some of our other monsters. We've got COCKROACHES bigger than that.

Dozy! That's amazing...the cockroaches I mean...I saw them as big as mice in Kingston, Jamaica had no idea they were like that in Australia too...

I recently played a couple of chess games with a guy from Uzbekistan and this was his profile pic. Is that humanoid enough for you?

He must have unsettled me pretty badly because he won both our games.
