Angelina Jolie did a wonderful job with this movie....why it didn't get more awards is beyond me. Of course the book is better, but only in the sense that more of the details come out in the book....which would have made the movie too long. The movie quickly became one of my favorites.....Louis Zamperini, one of many amazing people who's stories we'll never know.
