it does get confusing if you read from the same genre definitely haha
at the moment I'm reading a fantasy (House of Secrets) and a murder mystery by Mary Higgins Clark.
I do really try to not read more than one. But the books taunt me :P

Jingo, by Terry Pratchett

------

“Fortune favours the brave, sir,” said Carrot cheerfully.

“Good. Good. Pleased to hear it, captain. What is her position vis à vis heavily armed, well prepared and excessively manned armies?”

“Oh, no one’s ever heard of Fortune favouring them, sir.”

Well I just finished the Harry Potter series and I have 7 books left to read over the holidays, so last night I started Frostfire by Amanda Hocking.

"The Beginning of our Religious Traditions" by Karen Armstrong.

Its a deep book, but I find it very interesting.  Prior to that I was reading "The Innocents Abroad" by Mark Twain... I have read most of his books except "A Tramp Abroad" but I must take a break between different authors.

Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood.

I read this and Little Altars Everywhere every summer. Both by Rebecca Wells.

I recently found a book that I was reading earlier in the year while off for surgery and started reading it again..SCORE!😊 It's called "Level Zero Heroes" by Michael Golembesky and John Bruning. It's about a USMC special operations team and their assignments in Afghanistan.

I'm trying to read "War and Peace" by Leo Tolstoy but its so hard to follow! I just finished the Godfather by Mario Puzo and I recommend it to anybody that can read. War and Peace is a good read but its hard to remember the various characters.

The Godfather is also one of my favorite books. I would recommend two books. Sleepers first then Gangster. Both by Lorenzo Carcaterra. There has always been a rumour that Sleepers was a personal autobiography. If it was, it is a fascinating story. I don't know if you saw the movie, but it was also good, but the book is amazing. Gangster is also so very good.
@Sincerity Great suggestion. :)

Thanks for the recommendation Dragonfly (: And thanks for the advice Sincerity! Honestly the only reason I'm reading it is so I can have bragging rights later
