Anyone else here into anime? :)
Yes, I like anime even though I'm far from an expert in the genre.
I was really into anime and manga when I was younger. I grew up in Italy, and for some reason, all the kids TV shows over there are Japanese (random fact of the day).
Growing up, my favorites were Ranma 1/2 and a soccer anime called Capitan Tsubasa.
I was also really into Ghost in the Shell, and stuff like that too.
Lately though, I haven't had the chance to watch much anime... The last anime movie I watched was Spirited Away.
Attack on Titan is also currently on my Netflix "to watch" list.
Of course anime , manga and light novels are a great way of escape ism from the mundane aspects of reality in fact to escape such situations when I go to school or just go out I pack some manga with me the current usual ones as of recent are deadman wonderland ( vastly superior to the anime adaptation) and spice and wolf a great shoujo story .
There isn't much I don't like about anime I have book shelf covered in a mass amount of manga crossing from the most basic known shonen action manga ala bleach and inuyasha to them yaoi series's like loveless and sekkaichi hatsukoi, Futhermore on each book shelf there is a small pvc model next to each shelf end , some of them include pachira and Yumma from magical pokaan to Erin from attack on Titan and nyu from elfen lied. Then there's the time I cossplayed as L with my friend who was light to a comic convention in Manchester so in short yes I adore anime and manga
I am very picky and prefer things without a lot of fan service. I enjoy 90s the most
