It depends on what you're interested in. If you enjoy reading about bondage and stuff like that, then sure, you might be interested in it. I've started reading Fifty Shades of Grey myself and it's really not that bad. The only people that criticize it are the ones who have never read it before.
Most people I know that are avid readers like myself, never even made it halfway through before they stopped reading it. I didn't even make it through the first chapter. I wouldn't bother reading that if I were you. It got great reviews but I wonder who the author paid off to get them.
