By Bruce Dickinson, the Iron Maiden vocalist - "The Adventures of Lord Iffy Boatrace". Now that stands out because of who wrote the story and it's complete silliness.

Moist von Lipwig is the villain turned good-guy in "Going Postal" - that stands out because it does not fit with (any of ) his persona(s). Not the right name for a conman and trickster.

From the same author (Terry Pratchett) how about "Cohen the Barbarian" - no comment needed, I think.

Lastly, you have to look at Dicken's characters.

Mrs Moddle, Daniel Quilp, Uriah Heep, Abel Magwitch ...... You almost know what they are going to be like before you "meet" the character.

And you know that Mr Murdstone is going to be rather unpleasant, just from his name.
