In need of a free singer 2502C sewing machine manual. PDF or pamphlet?

There are a whole load of possible sites to download Singer manuals, both free and for a charge. It does appear, however, that there is no such model as a Singer 2502C. Even the Singer site does not list this model. There is, however, a free download available at this site, which covers several model numbers, including the 2502.

• Check the Plate

If the above manual is not the right one, it will be necessary to re-check the plate of the machine in order to determine the correct model before it is possible to get a manual.

If there is no other number that looks like a model, the best thing to do is to jot down all the details on the plate and then try out various combinations on either the above site or on SafeManuals - another place where free manuals of all kinds of sewing machines may be found.

• Sewing Accessories Shop

Another possibility is to take the details to a shop selling sewing accessories and associated stock. The assistants there may be able to help identify the model or at least give an idea who can help.

Although this is unlikely, the machine may be so old that manuals are simply no longer available the usual way. In this case, it may be possible to find a manual somewhere at a local library. Most libraries have sections containing service and repair manuals, it may be there.

• Bookshops

Another alternative would be to have a look in second hand bookshops, charity shops or thrift stores. It is quite surprising what can be unearthed in these places.
