· About Amador Daguio

Amador Daguio was born on the 8th of January 1912 in Laoag, Ilocos Norte, but was said to have been raised in Lubuagan, Mountain Province. He died in 1966.
Daguio was also a teacher as well as being a famous poet and novelist.

Although the 'Wedding Dance' is clearly available online you may also want to check your library to see if they have any of Amador Daguio's work. It will make great research to discover some of his other works and see how they compare to his very famous short story of the 'Wedding dance'.

If you can not find any of his work on the shelves at the library or local book store then it is worth asking a staff member. If they don't currently stock it then they may still be able to order it in for you.
