How Do You Word Thank You Notes For A House Warming Gift?

Dear Marsha and Tim,
We were so happy that you both were able to share in the joy of officially opening our house to all of our friends and relatives.  We wanted to make known to all of the important people in our lives that our home is a place that we want you to be comfortable to visit.  
Your thoughtful gift or a reading light for the study was appreciated and needed.  You know that Frank spends a great deal of his time in the study and proper lighting is a necessity for him to avoid headaches.  It is obvious that time and thought went into selecting the perfect housewarming gift for us.  Thank you so much.
