As a current actor. I can tell you all that the answers you're getting are all wrong. There's a lot more to what we do than just bang girls. Being bisexual helps some but I'm not into guys at all and I stay very busy.

The biggest thing for me was getting used to the lights. They get very hot and there is a lot of stopping and starting. Camera angles have to be right etc.

Let just say that, as a first statement, it's simple. If you are similar to other males in porn as in if you don't care about your self-respect and the rest of it then you really can go ahead and do it easily.

For the record though, porn is a movie industry and you are a actor and are not necessarily going to have sex as you do at home. Instead of that, you will do a acting job without your clothes where you act foreplay and the lot but it's just to say that most of the qualities needed for acting in a mainstream movie are needed in porn as well.

But, to put it in perspective, it's just as simple as posting photos and application material which varies by movie studio and/or directors and producers - and then waiting to get a call to act.

It is possible to have connections and even agents but it's quite rare outside of the State of Las Angeles. But just try to get a contract with a movie studio which is the only way to get ahead in the industry. It's just as simlpe as making appointments for auditioning and then auditioning.

It's just as simple as finding people to do business with and then doing it. Just as in other fields, the key is to find them and talk to them. Try to get a real job though.

Becoming an actor of any kind requires training in that field. What the articles by different websites show on the Internet is that there are politics in that field including the danger of health.

Also, you need to know that looks matter in acting. You need to post your resume at websites based on your preferences and wait for their reply for their requirements.

in non-vulgar and non-porn movies - they pay good and are reputable as

If you want to be in an AMATEUR porn movie, all you need is someone to hold the camera to record the action.  Then you can show your movie anywhere you want to.

The Sunday Sport and The Daily Sport are ideal places to start. Also adult magazines - in the back pages there are film companies looking for male actors.

There is a lot of competition out there, and just because you take your clothes off will not result in you becoming an instant millionaire.

I would consider thinking about what makes you different from everyone else. Will you be offering something different for the viewer?

Also consider that you may be keen just now to do it, but what about in a year's time or ten years' time?

Once that film is made it may haunt you forever, and may cause problems if you change career and have porn star on your CV may not be what they are looking for. Good luck.
