Boxer is a hard working horse that pulls not only his weight but most of the animals weight on the farm when it comes to working. Boxer is loyal and never gives up. He is a very dedicated worker and shows this while they are building the windmill. Boxer takes some of the strain of the animals as he puts in extra effort and works over time. He was never late for work. Boxers extra efforts cause him to hurt him self in an untimely accident. As Napoleon said Boxer was taken to the hospital after hes accident when really he was sold to the horse slaughters to receive more money for Napoleon so he can buy more whisky.
