Different fabrics burn at different rates. Some are quick to burn and other might burn slowly or just melt down. The quickest fabric to burn is Acetate. Silk is also a quick burner but it doesnot actually burn, it melts. Nylon and Rayon are also quick burners but Nylon also tends to melt. Polyester also has the melting quality. Cotton takes the most time to burn.
