Kate the adoptive mother of Esther finds out that Esther is actually a 33 year old woman at the hospital and Kate tries to tell John this secret but arrives too late as Esther, John, and Max were at home and Esther tries to seduce John when he was drunk with makeup and a black dress and John refuses and says he will have a talk with the people at the orphanage so Esther gets furious, messes up her room, and takes off her makeup to reveal what she really looks like. Then Esther turns out the power and kills John from behind with a knife from the bowl of fruit she brought to the living room while trying to seduce John.Max saw this and ran to her laundry closet. Kate crashes into the house and inspects the house for the family, finds John stabbed to death and cries. When she stops crying she takes the flashlight and Esther hears her and they take turns try to hide and find each other. Esther and Kate end up fighting on ice and Max attempts to shoot Esther but misses just south of Esther's leg and she falls back in the snow. The bullet broke the ice and Kate and Esther struggle in the freezing water and Kate manages to get out barley, then Esther grabs her foot and says "don't leave me like this mommy" (notice: Momy). Then Kate says "I'm not your mommy!" and kicks her hard in the face with her free leg. And then the police come but... Esther comes back to life! And that's it.
