You can't legally read Cirque du Freak books for free without going to the library or borrowing them from a friend - professional authors, like everyone else, need to be paid for their efforts!

However, for promotional purposes, some authors offer samples of their work for free, so you might be able to get hold of the first chapter or so online.

Downloading Cirque Du Freak Books For Free

This practice is illegal, but that’s not to say that there aren’t websites that are offering the books as free downloads. If you do come across the works, they'll be pirated, and this could land you in trouble if you download them!

Libraries and Bookstores
If you want to read a book for free, head to your local library. Darren Shan’s Vampire Blood trilogy is certainly popular enough to be found in the Young Adult section of most libraries. You could also try looking for them pre-owned, either in a store or online, if you want to save some money.

Abebooks sources bookshops all over the world and you can sometimes pick up popular paperbacks on there for under $1. If you can find the book that cheap, why break the law to read it for free?

About Cirque Du Freak The first book in the trilogy is Cirque du Freak: A Living Nightmare which was first published in Great Britain by HarperCollins in 2000. The trilogy is actually the first three works of a 12-book saga. Cirque du Freak is now a popular movie, too.

About Darren Shan

Darren Shan is actually a pen name. The author’s full name is Darren O'Shaughnessy.
He was born in 1972 in London, but at the age of six, he moved with his family to Ireland where he has lived ever since.

Darren Shan is a prolific author and commonly writes trilogies or long series as opposed to standalone novels. If you liked Cirque du Freak, you might also want to try out his 10-book series, The Demonata.
