Sounds like it is getting too much sun. Aloe plants like shade/indirect sunlight and not a lot of water.

Just to let you know... Thanks for helping others! My Aloe plant leaves were turning reddish brown too, we took it out of the sun and within one day it was looking much better! Thanks!!!

When you transplanted the aloe vera into different pots did you trim off the dry pieces? If you have the plants against a window for sunlight....it might be that it is too cold for them....when the weather begins getting colder where I live I have noticed that some of my aloe veras will begin to turn reddish brown at the tips indicating me to place them in the greenhouse for the winter. I hope this helps

It may be under stress and need more room for its roots
