I think it would be the mountains in Spring time when everything is so green and beautiful! That would be the Sierra Nevada mountains.

I'd paint the Boston city at night when you look down upon it from inside a plane. :3

I descend from British people, but when I was age 8 to 10, I lived in an island First Nations community of 128 people.  The other kids and I would walk along the shoreline in the mornings looking for stuff.  We never really found much, but we always found puddles of baby water snakes. They were threadlike and always knotted up with each other.  We took the time to untangle them and put each tiny snake in its own puddle.

That's what I would paint -- puddles of water snakes, all with a future.
