If you are looking to start your letter to mark the end of your internship, there are some things that you may wish to consider. To write the best possible letter you can, you should think about the following things:

• Be personal!

If you got on well with the people that you did your internship with, you should be nothing but personal with your letter - write something that will leave fond and happy memories of you, whilst still showing your gratitude for their kindness and warmth towards you during your time there.

• Don't try to be somebody you're not

If you seem too professional and cold, they may remember you in a harsher light than you would like. Write about the memories that you made during your time there; the things that made you happy and the things that made you laugh.
