His output does not have a finite number. It must be remembered that he was not a very good actor, which is why he was encouraged to write.

He may have 'contributed' to several plays, before offering his first
to the acting company 'The Admiral's Men' we will never know. Nor do know which WAS his first!

We will never know. Perhaps hundreds! He was writing at a time of increasing population in London, with the few playhouses and theatres crammed to the gills every night, with theatre goers eager to see the 'new' entertainment!
He was an avid reader, and 'inventor' of so many great ideas, that several seem to inter mingle as his output increased.
Thomas Kyd and Christopher Marlowe, appear to write in tandem with him in his early years, both, great encouragement for a young playwright, and so , his writing increased.
