It could well be Olivier! Gibson played Hamlet, with Patrick Stewart as Claudius. Branagh played Hamlet, with Richard Briers as Polonius. Whether Grant played him ort not is irrelevant! However, although Olivier is the be all, and end all, of all Hamlets on stage!-- I have yet to see a screen version with him playing the title role.
