As Maya overcame her painfull past, she tels us that she will never be put down

The peom "Still I Rise" by Maya Angelou is basically and inspiration about overcoming great obstacles/opppression. Her work is based on the call for rights of african Americans. This poem is a call for blacks to be proud of their origin. It is against the prejudice and submission that the black addicts has to experience at the hands of the government and physicians and general public throughout America.
thanked the writer.
