He had ten children with Catherine Thompson Hogarth.
Their names were: Charles Culliford Boz, Mary Angela, Kate Macready, Walter Landor, Francis Jeffrey, Alfred D'Orsay Tennyson, Sydney Smith Haldimand, Henry Fielding, Dora Annie and Edward Bulwer Lytton.
There is some evidence that had another child with Ellen Ternan, although this baby died shortly after been born.
